I began making oil-paintings of cakes and sweets when I was in high school, inspired by the art of Wayne Theibaud. It wasn't until much later... after an English degree, and finally culinary school, that I realized my true passion had it the other way around: creating works of art on cake.
And so I founded Passionflower Cakes, a Charlottesville wedding cake and custom cake boutique. At Passionflower Cakes, my goal is simple: to make your dream cake come true. That means everything—from high quality locally-sourced ingredients to custom designs. Whether it’s a gluten-free sailboat or an elegant wedding cake, I will work to make sure you remember it forever. We’ll plan your cake by e-mail, phone, or in person.
